Land The Job Interview Tips | PART ONE 2015

As you all know, we have been running a Facebook competition call Land the job? As part of the competition all entries must include their top interview tip.

We have had so many entries and I thought it would be a great idea to share with you all some of the awesome answers that we have received. I am going to break down this post into parts as we are receiving so many great answers that I want to try and share as many as I can with you.

I will not be including entries names within this post for privacy purposes, but here are some of the brilliant tips we have had so far..

PART 1

"Tailor your personal experiences whether that be employment, work experience, voluntary work or social experiences to the job roles in which your applying."

"Stay calm, turn up informed and BE YOURSELF!"

"Be prepared by not only learning about the firm your are applying to or interviewing for, but also there competitors to fully understand the market, look at what your firm is doing and not doing and offer ideas on how to improve its services."

"Be confident and stick to the facts. Be proud of your achievements."

"My top interview tip is always to look confident and determined. That creates the impression that I am experienced and capable of coping with the job. Not asking any questions at the end is also a very good tip as it leaves the impression that I am very well known with the job conditions and the company policy"

"Be confident, bring your personality and smile always!"

"The employer already knows your history and qualifications. The interview is their chance to see you, try and dress in the way you want your professional personality to be projected into that work place."

"Displaying confidence and enthusiasm, regardless of how nervous you are, will make you both memorable and likeable. Realistically who is going to employ someone who they don't like?"

If you haven't yet entered the Look the part. Land the job competition don't worry there is still time. If you would like to be in with the chance of winning £100 worth of Topshop or Topman vouchers to fund your perfect interview outfit then get your entries in today!

Please read T&C's here before entering.
Competition ends 28/02/2015

Good Luck,
Roxanne
